Privacy Statement—WASCA
WASCA respects the privacy of others. We do not currently require registration and, consequently, do not collect or store personal information from users on the WASCA website.
The only personal data that exists on the website are phone numbers and e-mail addresses of WASCA Board of Director’s Officers; Club contact phone numbers and e-mail addresses; names and contact information for callers, cuers, and instructors. Such data has been provided voluntarily.
We have made every effort to protect people’s privacy by using PDF files for most documents. A PDF file is stored as a graphics file and not text so that it is significantly more difficult for anyone to manipulate or misuse the data.
No Website Administrator or WASCA Officer will ever send e-mail to you personally asking for financial information or advertising investments or any of the other questionable subjects that people called “phishers” send to Internet users every day. If you do receive an e-mail that looks suspicious, even if it appears to be from a Website Administrator or WASCA Officer, do not respond to it. Pick up the phone and call someone and we will verify its legitimacy.
