Website Administration

The development of this website was accomplished on the Website Baker which is released under the GNU General Public License.  

The Website Administrator is Tom Stafford who also serves on the WASCA Board of Directors as Director, Membership and Information Services. 

The Assistant Website Administrator is Bill Cook, one of the WASCA dancers who was kind enough to volunteer. 

The principal Editor for the website is Arbell Thompson, who also is the Editor for the WASCA publication Calls 'n' Cues.  She has served in several different positions on the WASCA Board of Directors:  Subscriptions Director (1999-2004), Square Dance Liaison (2004-2006), Vice President (2006-2007), President (2007-2008) Special Events - VA (2008-2011) and was the 47th WASCA Festival Director in 2006. 

Various members of the Board have acted as advisors in numerous areas.

The website is monitored on a continuous basis and updated as changes occur.  There may be a lag time of 24 - 48 hours between information being provided to the WASCA website team member and the information appearing on the website.  If it is something that involves a policy decision by the WASCA board, it will require an action by the Board before it will appear on the website.
